The Florida Center for Cybersecurity (FC2) is a state resource that works to position Florida as a national leader in cybersecurity through education and workforce development; innovative, interdisciplinary research; and community engagement. Hosted by the University of South Florida-Tampa, FC2 works with all twelve State University System of Florida (SUS) institutions as well as government, defense and industry to create connections, build partnerships, capitalize on opportunities, and encourage collaboration. In addition to hosting and sponsoring educational and engagement events throughout the year, FC2 administers funding programs that support collaborative research and cybersecurity programming at SUS institutions. Florida Cyber Conference 2018 is the new name for the Florida Center for Cybersecurity’s annual conference. This year will be our fifth annual conference (last year’s conference was titled “Networking the Future,”), and we are working diligently to make this event the “go-to” conference for Florida’s cybersecurity community. This year we are planning more exhibitors, more networking opportunities, and more speakers!
