This session will discuss best (and worst) practices in preparing for and managing serious cyber incidents, including techniques for improving organizational readiness as well as key requirements for effective crisis response.
About Andy Zolper
Andy Zolper is the Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Technology Infrastructure for Raymond James Financial. He is responsible for all facets of information security as well as technology infrastructure engineering and platform operations. He leads a world-class team of experts who deliver high performance, highly-secure technology solutions to our business enterprise and clients.
Andy was previously CISO of UBS Wealth Management Americas and, later, Global Head of IT Risk Management. Prior to joining UBS, he led teams in IT risk and security, program management, and process re-engineering at JPMorgan Chase. Before JPMC, Andy was responsible for application development at Sterling Resources Inc. Before Sterling, Andy held various management roles at Verizon.
Andy is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and a US Marine Corps veteran, having served as a communications and signals intelligence officer. He is a graduate of SIFMA’s Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School, a Registered Operations Professional (Series 99), a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He represents Raymond James on the Advisory Council of BITS, the technology policy division of The Financial Services Roundtable, and is a member of SIFMA’s Cyber Security Working Group. Andy lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his wife and five children.
